Chrysanthemum

Chrysanthemum experiences the kindergarten nightmare of being made fun of, only to have the last word. The little white mouse loves and adores her name until the first day of school, when everyone makes fun of her mercilessly. Chrysanthemum has no idea her name is unusual until snooty Victoria points it out. Soon, Chrysanthemum is longing for something much plainer, like Jane.
